School is IN!!!

First, I would like to welcome everyone back to UAB this semester. Most of us are finding our new classes and getting into our regular routines for this semester. Almost every organization on campus is recruiting/rushing and having "Welcome/Welcome Back" gatherings and parties to promote themselves. This would be a good time for us (SAI) to really get out and not only learn about other organizations on our campus, but let others see who we are and make our presence even more known on campus.

WE HAVE A LOT OF WORK TO DO...SO LETS GET TO WORKING ON THINGS SOON!!!

I hope that everyone's first week will go well. Don't get discouraged so quickly if a class you thought was going to be easy doesn't turn out to be. Things will be fine. Just focus, study hard, and do your best. Most importantly, don't be afraid to ASK FOR HELP!!! (I had to learn that this summer)

Keep your eyes open for new announcements. I am in the process of creating a calendar of Concerts, Operas, Greek weeks, performances, ect. that you can download and keep with you.

AND SPEAKING OF CALENDARS....LADIES, PLEASE MAKE IT A POINT TO STOP BY THE HILL CENTER AND PICK UP A FREE UAB STUDENT ACTIVITIES PLANNER!!! THIS WILL BE OF MORE HELP THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW FOR KEEPING UP WITH ACTIVITIES!!!
If you need one, but can't stop and get yourself one, let me know, and I will get one for you (if I can).

See you all later.
LOVE AND ROSES!!
